1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket to attend any One National Real Estate event (including NYC Real Estate Expo and Southeast Real Estate Expo), you ("Attendee") agree to be bound by these Attendee Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully before completing your ticket purchase.

2. Ticket Purchase and Registration

2.1 Ticket Types and Pricing

Ticket types, prices, and availability are subject to change at any time. Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase.

2.2 Registration Accuracy

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Attendees are responsible for updating their registration information if it changes prior to the event.

2.3 Ticket Validity

Each ticket is valid for one individual attendee for the specific event and date(s) purchased. Tickets are not valid for any other One National Real Estate events unless explicitly stated.

2.4 Age Requirements

Attendees must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. One National Real Estate reserves the right to request age verification.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Methods

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed during checkout. Payment must be received in full before a ticket is confirmed.

3.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our payment service providers. One National Real Estate does not store complete credit card information.

3.3 Taxes and Fees

All applicable taxes and processing fees are included in the total price displayed at checkout.

4. Ticket Transfers, Refunds, and Cancellations

4.1 Ticket Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another individual by contacting One National Real Estate at least 7 days before the event. A transfer fee of $25 may apply. The transferee must accept these terms.

4.2 Ticket Resale Prohibited

Tickets may not be resold, auctioned, or transferred for commercial purposes without written consent from One National Real Estate. Unauthorized resale may result in ticket cancellation without refund.

4.3 Attendee-Initiated Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations 30+ days before event: Full refund minus $50 processing fee
  • Cancellations 14-29 days before event: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 14 days before event: No refund

4.4 Event Changes or Cancellation by One National Real Estate

If One National Real Estate cancels, significantly changes, or postpones an event:

  • Full refund of ticket price, or
  • Credit toward the rescheduled event or another One National Real Estate event of equal or lesser value

Minor changes to event schedule, speakers, or programming do not qualify for refunds.

4.5 No-Show Policy

Attendees who do not attend the event are not entitled to a refund.

5. Event Access and Credentials

5.1 Badge and Credentials

Upon check-in, you will receive a badge or credential that must be worn visibly at all times during the event. Lost badges may incur a replacement fee.

5.2 Badge Sharing Prohibited

Badges are non-transferable and for individual use only. Sharing your badge with another person is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the event.

5.3 Security Screening

One National Real Estate and venue staff reserve the right to:

  • Inspect bags and personal items
  • Conduct security screenings
  • Deny entry to anyone refusing security screening

5.4 Removal from Event

One National Real Estate reserves the right to remove any attendee for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Disruptive, inappropriate, or illegal behavior
  • Failure to comply with venue rules or staff instructions
  • Health or safety violations

Removed attendees forfeit their ticket with no refund.

6. Badge Scanning and Data Sharing

6.1 Your Control Over Badge Scanning

During the event, exhibitors may request to scan your badge using lead retrieval technology. You have complete control over whether to allow your badge to be scanned.

6.2 What Happens When You Allow a Badge Scan

If you consent to having your badge scanned by an exhibitor, the following information from your registration will be shared with that exhibitor:

  • Your name and job title
  • Your company name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (if provided during registration)
  • Your mailing address (if provided during registration)
  • Any additional information you included in your registration profile

6.3 Your Right to Decline

You may decline badge scanning requests from any or all exhibitors. Exhibitors are required to respect your decision and may not scan your badge without your explicit consent.

6.4 How Exhibitors May Use Your Information

Exhibitors who scan your badge are permitted to use your information for business-to-business follow-up purposes. Exhibitors are contractually prohibited from:

  • Selling or renting your data to third parties
  • Using your information for purposes unrelated to their legitimate business interests
  • Retaining your data longer than reasonably necessary

6.5 Managing Follow-Up Communications

If an exhibitor contacts you after the event and you wish to opt out of further communications, you should contact that exhibitor directly using their unsubscribe mechanism or contact information.

7. Photography, Video, and Media Rights

7.1 Event Recording

One National Real Estate and its authorized media partners will photograph, film, and record the event, including attendees, presentations, and activities.

7.2 Your Consent to Be Filmed

By attending the event, you grant One National Real Estate perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide rights to use your name, voice, image, and likeness captured at the event for:

  • Marketing and promotional materials
  • Event recap videos and photo galleries
  • Social media content
  • Website content
  • Press releases and media coverage
  • Future event promotion

7.3 Commercial Use

You understand that photographs and videos may be used for commercial purposes, including advertisements, without additional compensation to you.

7.4 Opting Out of Photography

Due to the nature of event photography and videography, individual opt-out from all photography is not feasible. If you wish to avoid being photographed:

  • Avoid designated photo areas and stage/presentation areas
  • Inform event photographers if they are taking close-up shots
  • Understand that wide-angle shots of the event may still capture your image

7.5 Personal Recording

Attendees may take photographs and videos for personal use but may not:

  • Record presentations or sessions without speaker permission
  • Use event content for commercial purposes
  • Livestream event content without written permission
  • Disrupt the event with recording equipment

8. Attendee Conduct and Responsibilities

8.1 Code of Conduct

All attendees must:

  • Treat other attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff with respect
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
  • Comply with all venue rules and local laws
  • Not engage in illegal activities or bring prohibited items to the event

8.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are generally prohibited unless specifically approved:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal substances
  • Large bags or luggage (coat check may be available)
  • Outside food or beverages (unless required for medical reasons)
  • Items that could disrupt the event or pose safety hazards

8.3 Solicitation and Distribution

Attendees may not:

  • Distribute promotional materials outside designated areas
  • Solicit attendees for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Conduct unofficial surveys or data collection
  • Set up unofficial displays or demonstrations

8.4 Networking and Business Development

While networking is encouraged, attendees must not engage in aggressive or unwelcome solicitation of other attendees.

9. Health and Safety

9.1 Health Protocols

Attendees must comply with any health and safety protocols implemented by One National Real Estate or the venue, which may include:

  • Temperature checks
  • Health screenings or questionnaires
  • Mask requirements
  • Vaccination or testing requirements
  • Social distancing measures

9.2 Accessibility

One National Real Estate strives to make events accessible to all attendees. If you require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or similar laws, please contact us at least 14 days before the event.

9.3 Medical Emergencies

Event staff will provide reasonable assistance in medical emergencies, but One National Real Estate is not responsible for providing medical care. Attendees are responsible for their own health and medical needs.

9.4 Personal Property

One National Real Estate is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Attendees are encouraged to keep valuables secure and use provided coat check services if available.

10. Data Collection and Privacy

10.1 Information We Collect

When you register for an event, we collect:

  • Name and contact information (email, phone, mailing address)
  • Job title and company information
  • Payment information
  • Any additional information you choose to provide
  • Attendance and participation data during the event

10.2 How We Use Your Information

We use attendee information to:

  • Process your ticket purchase and registration
  • Send event-related communications and updates
  • Facilitate badge scanning (only when you consent)
  • Improve our events and services
  • Send promotional content about future One National Real Estate events
  • Generate anonymous analytics and aggregate data

10.3 Marketing Communications

By registering as an attendee, you consent to receive:

  • Event-related communications (confirmations, reminders, updates)
  • Promotional emails about future NYC Real Estate Expo and Southeast Real Estate Expo events
  • One National Real Estate Newsletter and Magazine

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us directly. Event-critical communications (cancellations, safety alerts) cannot be opted out of.

10.4 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

  • Exhibitors: Only when you explicitly consent to badge scanning
  • Service providers: Payment processors, email service providers, event technology platforms, and other vendors who assist with event operations (these parties are contractually prohibited from selling or misusing your data)
  • Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights

10.5 Anonymous Aggregate Data

We may provide advertisers and sponsors with anonymous, aggregate information about attendee demographics and behavior (e.g., "500 attendees from the financial services sector"). This data does not identify you personally.

10.6 Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience and analyze website traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10.7 Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. We retain attendee data for:

  • Active business relationships and future event marketing
  • Legal compliance and record-keeping requirements
  • As long as you maintain an active account or subscription

You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

10.8 Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to certain data processing
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Event Content

All presentations, materials, and content provided at the event are the property of One National Real Estate or the respective speakers/exhibitors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

11.2 Prohibited Use

Attendees may not:

  • Record, reproduce, or distribute event content without permission
  • Use event content for commercial purposes
  • Claim ownership of event materials or presentations

11.3 Personal Use

You may take notes for personal use and may receive certain materials for personal or internal business use as specified by presenters.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Event Content Disclaimer

One National Real Estate makes no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy or completeness of information presented
  • Advice or recommendations from speakers or exhibitors
  • Business outcomes or opportunities from attending

12.2 Third-Party Exhibitors and Sponsors

One National Real Estate is not responsible for:

  • Products, services, or representations made by exhibitors or sponsors
  • Transactions between attendees and exhibitors
  • Accuracy of exhibitor claims or materials

12.3 Limitation of Liability

One National Real Estate's total liability to any attendee shall not exceed the ticket price paid. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Travel or accommodation expenses if the event is cancelled or changed
  • Personal injury except where prohibited by law
  • Technical difficulties or interruptions

12.4 Assumption of Risk

By attending, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with event attendance, including but not limited to:

  • Risk of illness or injury
  • Loss or theft of personal property
  • Travel-related risks

13. Force Majeure

One National Real Estate is not liable for failure to hold the event or perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods)
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
  • Government orders, travel restrictions, or venue closures
  • Strikes, labor disputes, or utility failures

In such cases, One National Real Estate will provide refunds or credits as described in Section 4.4.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Modifications to Terms

One National Real Estate reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

14.2 Modifications to Event

One National Real Estate reserves the right to modify event dates, times, locations, speakers, programming, and format. We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of significant changes.

14.3 Entire Agreement

These terms, along with your ticket confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and One National Real Estate regarding event attendance.

14.4 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

14.5 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.

14.6 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14.7 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your event attendance shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
  2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)

Each party is responsible for their own costs and fees unless otherwise awarded.
